(AntiFascistCalling) – Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz once famously wrote that “war is the continuation of politics by other means.” A century later, radical French philosopher Michel Foucault turned Clausewitz on his head and declared that “politics is the continuation of war by other means.”
In our topsy-turvy world where truth and lies coexist equally and sociopathic business elites reign supreme, it would hardly be a stretch to theorize that cyber war is the continuation of parapolitical crime by other means. Continue reading →
(BigGovernment) – The Constitution of the United States of America is a remarkable document. It is eloquent in its simplicity, clarity and in its power. It revolutionized (first in America, and then throughout most of the western world) the relationship between those who are governed and those who govern. It has served as a governing template for much of the democratic western world.
Every federal office holder swears allegiance to the Constitution, not to any leader, not to any party, not to any political philosophy—only to this document, which is the foundation upon which our form of government is based and against which all legislation and judicial actions are measured. The President vows to do his job faithfully and, to the best of his ability, to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
And while there is no way of divining what today’s crop of leaders would have thought of the Constitution had they been present at the founding when it was first circulated prior to ratification, we have our doubts whether many of today’s ruling class, including President Obama, would have found common cause with Washington, Adams (John), Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton or Jay, all of whom loomed so large on the emerging American landscape. (FireDogLake) – This essay shows the pervasive influence of Goldman Sachs and its units (like the Goldman-Robert Rubin-funded Hamilton Project embedded in the Brookings Institution) in the Obama government. These names are in addition to those compiled on an older such list and published here at FDL. In the future, I will combine the names here and those on the earlier article but I urge readers to look at the earlier list too (links below). Combined, this is the largest and most comprehensive list of such ties yet published. Read More Here
(NorCalTruth) – A summary of news relating to 9/11/01 – The week of March 8 through March 14, 2010. (Last week is here)
Bob McIlvaine is the father of Bobby McIlvaine, who was killed in the attacks of 9/11. Like many other family members, Mr. McIlvaine wants to know more about what took his son’s life on September 11th. He has launched a campaign called “Building What?!”, trying to educate the New York City council members on the collapse of World Trade Center #7. Building #7 was a 47 story skyscraper that collapsed at 5:20 in the evening on September 11th, 2001. This building was not hit by a plane, yet it fell at close to gravity like speed and into its own footprint. The 9/11 Commission did not report about this building, leaving many wondering why. Bob McIlvaine would like all our help in educating the City Council of New York, please check out the page he has set up here.
A campaign in New Hampshire had successful results this week, this is taken from their website:
On March 9, 2010 voters in the town of Richmond, New Hampshire became the second town in the United States to pass a resolution calling upon Congress to open a new investigation into the events of September 11, 2001.
It’s too late for anyone to pretend that the U.S. government, whether under President Barack Obama or anyone else, can divert our nation from long-term economic decline. The U.S. is increasingly in a state of political, economic, and moral paralysis, caught as it were between the “rock” of protracted recession and the “hard place” of terminal government debt. According to former Nazi officials, Rudolf Hess was following Hitler’s orders when he flew to England in May 1941 with an offer to reverse Nazi victories in Western Europe in exchange for peace and a free hand in the East. Continue reading →
What Pentagon theorists describe as a “Revolution in Military Affairs” (RMA) leverages information technology to facilitate (so they allege) command decision-making processes and mission effectiveness, i.e. the waging of aggressive wars of conquest. Continue reading →
The privately owned Bank of England was organized in 1694. Soon, other privately-owned central banks developed in other parts of Europe. With their presence, it meant that the money of the nations involved was placed into the hands of private people who were answerable to no one. Yet, if the public became concerned over their money, and there was a run on the bank, the governing politicians/kings would be blamed and hung and not the bankers. This was a perfect scam to rip off and steal from the people. Continue reading →
