Ketcham keeps bolstering the Big Lie by pretending that the incompetence theory of 9/11 has merit. While admitting to such practices in the distant past, Ketchum ignores the period leading up to 9/11 as well as the present. Continue reading

Response to 9/11 Commission staff member Miles Kara

Dear Mr. Kara
Thank you for your “Open Letter to the 9-11 Working Group of Bloomington.” As a member of that group, I’m glad to see you express interest in our work and I appreciate your invitation to further discuss the 9/11 Commission report in a public forum. Media Disinformation: Reframing the War in Afghanistan and Pakistan as a “Class War”

The fact that the Taliban is a party of the peasant classes, but certainly not the only one, is not news in Afghanistan or Pakistan. It is thus interesting that The New York Times (“Taliban Exploit Class Rifts to Gain Ground in Pakistan,” 16 April 2009) is now exploiting the fact the Taliban do represent significant groups of peasants as if this is news. This indication of a possible reframing of the war in Afghanistan and Pakistan as a class war is significant as the U.S. escalates the intensity and scale of warfare in the region. Continue reading
