Welcome to Mexico! Excuse the Mess–We’re Remodeling

(RevoltOfThePlebs) – If you look beyond the barebacked illegal alien scaling a barbed wire fence, you’ll discover a trail of dead that leads all the way back to Mexico City.  There you’ll find President Felipe Calderon—chillin’ like a villain—with a motley wrecking crew of CIA operatives, Latin American drug lords and an assortment of corporate henchmen from such infamous organizations as Halliburton, DynCorp and SYColeman.  Look beyond them, and you’ll discover a trail of cash that leads all the way back to Wall Street and Washington D.C.

Mexico is going through some big changes, but not the kinds of changes contained in any of Calderon’s political speeches.  The Mexican President is working off blueprints drafted by the Anglo-American establishment.  By the time they’re through, you won’t recognize the place.  It may not become a suitable place to live, but it will certainly be a plunder friendly environment for rich carpetbaggers (the people Obama likes to call “The Titan’s of Industry”) intent on exploiting all of Mexico’s vast natural resources.  But—of course—you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, and that’s precisely what Calderon and his staff of short order cooks are frying up in Hell’s kitchen. School of Terror – John Pilger

This is an excerpt from John Pilger’s bestseller ‘The New Rulers Of The World.’

Much was made of al-Qaeda’s training camps in Afghanistan, the target of American bombers. But these were kindergartens compared with the world’s leading university of terrorism at Fort Benning in Georgia. Known until recently as the School of the Americas, it trained some 60,000 Latin American soldiers, policemen, paramilitaries and intelligence agents. Forty per cent of the Cabinet ministers who served in the genocidal regimes of Lucas Garcia, Rios Montt and Mejia Victores in Guatemala are graduates. Continue reading

Video: Real Life Avatar

(RussiaToday) – ‘US corporations are under fire for aiding the creation of world’s second largest displaced population. Activists claim millions of Colombians have been driven from their homes.

In light of the issue, hundreds of protestors have gathered at Washington DC’s Capitol Hill. People brought pictures of those who have suffered as a result of the activities of major US companies in Colombia’s indigenous territories, which are rich in natural resources. Millions have not only been displaced, but also are either missing, tortured or have been killed.’ Continue reading

Permanent Agression: War on the Horizon in Latin America

(GlobalResearch) – The Empire will stop at nothing to find mechanisms and techniques to achieve its final objective, and we cannot disregard the possibility of a military conflict in the near future. If the US places Venezuela on the “terrorist list” this year, we could be on the verge of a regional war. Continue reading

Herding the Sheep – Washingtons Blog

Financial insider and commentator Yves Smith wrote an essay last week entitled “MSM Reporting as Propaganda” arguing that the government has been using propaganda to make people think that things are getting better, no one is angry, and – therefore – no one should get upset: Continue reading

The latest news report that Russia will sign an agreement with the Bolivian government to explore and produce natural gas is a significant setback for US domination of its traditional Latin American sphere of influence. Continue reading

If we want Policy instead of Speeches – Cynthia McKinney

President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize was not the only news yesterday. And in my opinion, it’s not even the biggest news. It’s not even the saddest news. But it does provide us with some critical information as we move forward. The three-part question for us, tonight however, is “What are we moving forward TO; is that the place we want to go; and if not, what do we do about it? Continue reading
