MSM: Fidel Castro Fascinated By Book On Bilderberg Club

(AP) – Fidel Castro is showcasing a theory long popular both among the far left and far right: that the shadowy Bilderberg Group has become a kind of global government, controlling not only international politics and economics, but even culture.

The 84-year-old former Cuban president published an article Wednesday that used three of the only eight pages in the Communist Party newspaper Granma to quote – largely verbatim – from a 2006 book by Lithuanian-born writer Daniel Estulin. Continue reading

Obama, the one-term president

Q: Will Barack Obama be a one-term president?

A: Yes, he might last that long.

(Politico) – Recently, President Obama decided he had to weigh in on the controversy surrounding the proposed construction of a Muslim community center and mosque near ground zero in New York.

It is a controversy Obama could have ducked (he had been doing so for weeks), but he finally decided he needed to lend his voice and the weight of the presidency to speaking out for what is right.

So on Friday night, he said: “As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan in accordance with local laws and ordinances.”

See what I mean about not getting it? Full story here.

Media Defends Clinton, Gore Over Rape Allegations, But Crucifies Rand Paul For a Harmless College Prank

(PaulWatson&AlexJones) – While serious Clinton and Gore sex scandals are belittled, sidelined, and ignored, Rand Paul is crucified for jokingly suggesting his college friend worship the Aqua Buddha

Even after the anonymous woman whose words the corporate media twisted to slanderously claim Rand Paul kidnapped and forced drugged her recanted and admitted that she was not kidnapped, she was not force drugged, and that “the whole thing has been blown out of proportion” and was actually a harmless college prank, the establishment is still using the manufactured hoax in an effort to discredit Paul, a display of enthusiasm that was noticeably lacking when the far more serious rape scandals surrounding President Bill Clinton and more recently Al Gore came to light. Welcome to Mexico! Excuse the Mess–We’re Remodeling

(RevoltOfThePlebs) – If you look beyond the barebacked illegal alien scaling a barbed wire fence, you’ll discover a trail of dead that leads all the way back to Mexico City.  There you’ll find President Felipe Calderon—chillin’ like a villain—with a motley wrecking crew of CIA operatives, Latin American drug lords and an assortment of corporate henchmen from such infamous organizations as Halliburton, DynCorp and SYColeman.  Look beyond them, and you’ll discover a trail of cash that leads all the way back to Wall Street and Washington D.C.

Mexico is going through some big changes, but not the kinds of changes contained in any of Calderon’s political speeches.  The Mexican President is working off blueprints drafted by the Anglo-American establishment.  By the time they’re through, you won’t recognize the place.  It may not become a suitable place to live, but it will certainly be a plunder friendly environment for rich carpetbaggers (the people Obama likes to call “The Titan’s of Industry”) intent on exploiting all of Mexico’s vast natural resources.  But—of course—you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, and that’s precisely what Calderon and his staff of short order cooks are frying up in Hell’s kitchen. Ahmadinejad slams West’s instrumental use of media

(TehranTimes) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad slams the West for its instrumental use of media with the aim to dominate the world.

The president made the remarks in a Saturday speech to mark the ‘Reporters’ Day’.

August 8 (Mordad 17 in the Iranian calendar) is named the Reporter’s Day marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of IRNA correspondent Mahmoud Saremi in Afghanistan in 1998 when Taliban fighters occupied the Iranian consulate in Mazari Sharif.

“Western media have always portrayed justice-seeking nations as weak and inefficient while showing the bullying powers as freedom-seeking and pro-democratic,” Ahmadinejad stated.

The West is using media as a psychological warfare tool against other countries, the president noted.

Ahmadinejad cited the Palestine issue as a concrete example in which Western media try to manipulate realities on the ground.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadinejad noted that there is no obstacle in the way of Iranians livings abroad to return back to the country.

The president also called on organizations which have filed lawsuits against certain reporters to withdraw their complaints. – Source: Tehran Times
