Global temperatures ‘have plunged .74°F since Gore released ‘An Inconvenient Truth’

The latest global averaged satellite temperature data for June 2009 reveals yet another drop in the Earth’s temperature. This latest drop in global temperatures means despite his dire warnings, the Earth has cooled .74°F since former Vice President Al Gore released “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2006.

Gore has not yet addressed the simple fact that global temperatures have dropped since the release of his global warming film. A record cool summer has descended upon many parts of the U.S. after predictions of the “year without a summer.” There has been no significant global warming since 1995, no warming since 1998 and global cooling for the past few years.

In addition, New peer-reviewed scientific studies now predict a continued lack of global warming for up to three decades as natural climate factors dominate. This means that today’s high school kids being forced to watch Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” – some of them 4 times in 4 different classes – will be nearly eligible for AARP (age 50) retirement group membership by the time warming resumes if these new studies turn out to be correct.   1. Why do you bother posting this bullshit? You discredit your website rather badly. Are you really that unaware of the scientific evidence that indicates that we are right on schedule to see exceedingly dangerous levels of warming? That the world’s oceans are now saturated with carbon dioxide? That the methane / C02 levels in the permafrost are now twice what we thought (and they’re melting)? That the world’s glaciers are very rapidly disappearing and millions are now at risk of having no water? That this years ice loss in the Arctic is expected to be as bad as last years? That the world’s largest ice shelf has broken off in the Antartic?

    How can anybody not see this evidence or pretend it does not actually exist (or whatever the hell they are doing) and still go on to claim the planet is cooling? Are you people absolute fools or what?

    The type of hyperbole article you post is pure unadulterated CRAP in the face of worldwide evidence of a planet heating up. Future scenarios include warming of up to an average of 9 degrees. This is a terrifying amount of temperature increase and will wipe out billions of people and make much of the planet (currently inhabited areas) uninhabitable.

    I suggest you read Real Climate and other credible websites (run by real scientist) instead of the Al Gore deniers bullcrap. Global warming is NOT about Al Gore you idiots. It’s about having a habitable planet to live on before we wind up killing our own selves from STUPIDITY.

    Frankly, those who cannot even witness with their own eyes what is happening now to the planet are deranged individuals.

    Future climate predictions using the world’s best data sets and best models (best science and facts to date) predict and absolutely hellish future. This is not hyperbole, it is based on the best evidence gathered from the brightest minds around the world.

    Now pay attention: posting these disingenious links to bullshit science and denial of what is happening right before our very eyes is a criminal act of negligence and dangerous denial. Read real science from real scientist and stop linking to the crackpots and loony tune denialist camps. In time, you will ALL be begging for water in the years ahead and will deeply regret your denialist positions when you could have done something different (like tell the truth).

    Most of you apparently have NO IDEA what it means to see a 9 degree Fahrenheit temperature rise (on average). It’s a kill shot to most of the life on the planet. Period. End of story. Life as you know it and most everything else living on this planet is over. It will trigger runaway warming of such magnitude that humans will cease to exist within a very short time, while you morons stupidly argued that “it wasn’t real”.

    Bottom line: it is not survivable. Go look it up for yourself and see what a mere 2 degrees Centigrade actually means for life on Earth. Get this data from real scientist. Now imagine this hellish future of 9 degrees or more Fahrenheit.
