IOF troops round up 1,400 Palestinians in 3 months

(Uruknet) – The higher national committee in support of prisoners on Sunday said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) had detained more than 1,400 Palestinians in the first quarter of 2010 including 90 from the Gaza Strip.

Al Mezan Center’s staff visited some of the areas the IOF left last night and today morning. It found out that a disaster had struck these areas, which had not been accessible for weeks. In particular, dozens of civilians’ corpses have been found in a bad condition under the rubble of destroyed houses.
