In September 2006, the world experienced a paradigm shift when a strong lobbying effort by grassroots organizations effectively derailed an initiative: A move that was tantamount to a declaration of war on Iran.

U.S.: Iran Resolution Shelved in Rare Defeat for Israel Lobby

In a significant and highly unusual defeat for the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) the Democratic leadership of the House of Representatives has decided to shelve a long-pending, albeit non-binding, resolution that called for President George W. Bush to launch what critics called a blockade against Iran.

But an unexpectedly strong lobbying effort by a number of grassroots Iranian-American, Jewish-American, peace, and church groups effectively derailed the initiative.

The decision by the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Howard Berman, to shelve HR 362 marked an unusual defeat for AIPAC, according to its critics who charged that the resolution was designed to lay the groundwork for the Bush administration or any successor administration to take military action against Iran.

Desperate Establishment’s Latest Rand Paul Hoax Backfires

(PaulWatson&AlexJones) – The latest media hoax targeting Kentucky primary winner Rand Paul has exploded in the establishment’s face after a claim that Paul “kidnapped” a woman during a college prank was revealed to be completely mischaracterized, showing once again how desperate the system is to discredit Paul and prevent him from leading a populist revolt against the status quo.

The corporate media has now launched no less than three hyped or outright manufactured “controversies” in an effort to tear down Paul’s popularity in the less than three months since he won the Kentucky primary. The system is scared stiff of what Paul represents because he is a true constitutionalist with a real chance of winning in October after having brushed aside establishment Republican candidate Trey Grayson back in May.

On the very night of his primary success, the media kicked into high gear and instantly tried to characterize Paul as a hypocrite and a racist elitist simply because he held his victory celebration at a country club.

Why Cops Love the iPhone

(Infowars) – When Steve Jobs first announced the iPhone in January of 2007, the tech world was abuzz about what this single device could mean to the future of mobile communication. He told the crowd at Macworld that Apple was coming out with a communications device, internet browser and a media player. What police are discovering is that the iPhone is also a great tool for tracking and prosecuting their owners. It turns out that the iPhone stores a lot more information than you may think.

The Chicago Sun-Times published an article expanding on how police are using iPhones in their investigations.

Texbook Doublethink: SPLC’s Latest Effort Attacks Constitutionalists

(21stCenturyWire) – The Southern Poverty Law Center’s latest Associated Press release entitled, Baffling beliefs mark Sovereign Citizen theories, is the organization’s most recent effort to marginalize large blocks of the population it deems to be a domestic threat. Examination of this, as well as other documents, reveals a systematic pattern of media manipulation and disinformation aimed squarely at the American people.

In the latest release the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) identifies,  “the number of people who now consider themselves sovereign citizens, Americans above the law who adhere only to the Constitution and follow a revised history of the United States”.

For any students of critical thinking, the SPLC is employing a 20th century propaganda technique know as doublespeak. Here the SPLC attempts to construct the doublethink idea that such Americans who adhere only to the Constitution are “above the law”.

How Many Guns Are Too Many?

(SHTFPlan) – After responding to a burglary call at a Rockford, Illinois home, police failed to apprehend the thief but found something that is perhaps much more interesting. WTVO reports that upon entering the home of an unnamed 67 year old resident they were surprised to find a weapons cache of over 300 weapons ranging from shotguns to rifles.

The homeowner, a registered firearm owner, was out of town at the time of the burglary. According to police, the weapons were taken for safekeeping. The guns will be cross-checked against police databases to ensure they have not been used for criminal activity.

While it’s probably a good idea to take the weapons for safekeeping, considering that the house was broken into and the homeowner was out of town, what’s equally as interesting is the reaction of the neighbors: Read entire article

In their June, 2010 magazine-issue, the Dutch Central Bank portrayed mass-murderer Mao Zedong arrogantly on the cover. By blatantly depicting the mass-murderer’s face the Bankers not only dance on the graves of the dictator’s victims, they’re dancing on the graves of their own victims- as Mao was directly put in power by the global bankers. Besides being directly responsible for the murder of at least 20 million people, Mao was also in the habit of kidnapping, raping en murdering young women for his royal pleasure. These historical facts have not deterred the Dutch Central Bank.

This is just one example of the unbridled hubris with which the banks throw their blood-lust in your face. But the blood-lust is more than lust. It’s a belief-system, a cult, that has infiltrated politics, economics, military and, last but not least, science.

FCC Using Cybersecurity To Regulate Internet

(FierceGovernmentit) – Yet another federal agency envisions a possible broader role for itself in securing private sector Internet infrastructure. The Federal Communications Commission issued on August 9 a notice (.pdf) soliciting public comment on an anticipated FCC plan to address vulnerabilities to core Internet protocols, as well as cybersecurity threats to all end users.

“Cybersecurity is a vital topic for the Commission because end user lack of trust in online experiences will quell demand for broadband services,” the notice states. The National Broadband Plan calls for the FCC to issue a Cybersecurity Roadmap. A plan, the FCC says in the notice, should be completed by November 2010.

Why Puberty Is Occurring In Seven and Eight Year Old Girls

(HealthWyze) – The New York Times reported on a study which shows that puberty is occurring in much younger girls than previous generations. In fact, girls are more likely to be growing breasts by the age of 7 or 8. This trend has been continuing for a long time, and researchers have been puzzled by it. The researchers in the recent study came closer to pinning down a cause, but never specifically mentioned a single factor that would cause this development.

Chemicals which alter hormones are everywhere. They are in our foods, and the toys that our children play with. Bisphenol-A (BPA) has become very controversial in recent years, because it is known to disrupt the hormones, thus leading to earlier puberty onset, and problems during pregnancy. It has also been implicated for causing brain damage, cancer, diabetes, and heart problems. This chemical has been found in the urine of 90% of Americans. (RussiaToday) – Google’s South Korean headquarters have been raided because of allegations that the internet giant stole private information from the nation’s citizens. Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt, a member of the Bilderberg group, has called for a new internet that will have a slow lane for porn and shopping but the value added content is only for those who can pay. Wayne Madsen adds that the Obama administration wants to shut the internet down to those who cannot pay for it or don’t have enough political influence.

Money and the movement of money is the god of the temporal sphere. The force of the will of this satanic deity, compels all affected nations to be engaged in an international commerce of weapons and munitions that must be used against middle and far eastern nations so that there is always a demand for more of them. The war machine employs a never ending commerce of fuel, food, various constructions, military hardware and personnel as well as any and all items that you can think of, which are required by any society and the war machine is a society. It’s much like a casino but instead of betting against the house in the hope of profit; a stupid idea for the bettor, since the game is rigged, the players, which are the peoples of the world, bet against each other for the profit of the ones controlling the game and hope they are on the right side when there is no right side.

(IND) – A British internet security company has demonstrated how to turn the Palm Pre into a secret bugging device, ideal for corporate espionage, and issued a warning that many other popular smartphones are also vulnerable to hackers.

In-house hackers at Basingstoke-based MWR InfoSecurity have created a bug hidden in an electronic business card, or vcard, which enabled them to use the Pre to record conversations and send the audio file back to them, whenever it is connected to a WiFi or 3G network – all without the user being aware anything at all is happening.
