The video starts out with some content from obamasnippets.com, which, of course is contrived. And yet, there seems to be a synthetic truth about what the president says. Is he “natural born” according to the Constitution? No. Continue reading

Every German household will have to have TV licence from 2013
(TheFluCase) – Every single household in Germany will have to pay a flat fee of €17.98 per month for a TV licence regardless of whether they have a TV or not under a new law due to come into force on January 1 2013.
The change will see public broadcasters ARD and ZDF getting an extra billion euros to fund government propaganda following the decision by the prime ministers of the federal states made on June 9 in Berlin. Continue reading
A comment: Revisiting George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four in 2010
(WSWS) – Since first appearing in the popular lexicon, the term “Orwellian” has conjured up a vision of the prototypical “totalitarian state”: a one-party dictatorship that swarmed with secret police, spied on its own people, quashed dissent, made arbitrary arrests, tortured prisoners, waged perpetual war, rewrote history for mere expedience, impoverished its own working population, and rooted its political discourse in doublethink—a thought system defined as “the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.”
Many Americans would easily recognize this description of “Oceania,” the futuristic dystopia immortalized by George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, one of the most influential English-language novels of the mid-twentieth century.
Whether many Americans recognize that this description applies to their own society as well is another matter. But since the theft of the 2000 election—a period marked by such events as the 9/11 attacks, the invasion of Iraq based on fictitious “WMD” (weapons of mass destruction), the torture scandals, and the 2008 financial crash—it’s a point that increasing numbers of Americans seem to be grasping. U.S. Government Website’s Warning Against Conspiracy Theories
(NAlert) – Stephen Carson at LRC blog reports:
Here is a not-to-be-missed web page from the U.S. federal government addressing various conspiracy theories that involve the U.S. government: Conspiracy Theories and Misinformation. They write: “Conspiracy theories exist in the realm of myth, where imaginations run wild, fears trump facts, and evidence is ignored. As a superpower, the United States is often cast as a villain in these dramas.”
Here’s a warning from the federal government website:
Perhaps more conspiracy theories surround Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated President John Kennedy in 1963, than anyone in American history. The Soviet KGB, Cuba, the mafia, the CIA, and others have been blamed for killing Kennedy, but all evidence indicates that Oswald acted alone.
If there’s nothing to hide(in the JFK matter) why doesn’t the government release George Joannides’ file? Anyway, the Sherman and Clayton acts are based on conspiracy theory. Does the government think people who get involved in politics are purer than businessmen? Who could forget the Rod Blagojevich case is based on conspiracy to commit RICO? Who could forget the ultra sleazy Chicago voters sent this “high ranking made member ” of the Chicago Mob to Chicago’s City Council for 23 years?
Video: Operation Blackjack – Retrospective
(PrisonPlanet) – Remember Operation Blackjack? In early 2009 The London Telegraph mysteriously ran a series of pieces in it’s “culture” section depicting a co-ordinated round of nuclear attacks on major cities, begining in London and moving to New York City, Washington DC, Toronto, Mexico City, Portland, and Los Angeles.
The series began as a crude slideshow of photoshopped mushroom clouds and ended abruptly in a comic strip style several weeks later. This change was perhaps in response to a bombardment of complaints from readers who saw no artistic merit in the depiction of mass slaughter.
As the plot of the piece unfolded it became clear that the attacks were carried out not by extemist terrorists, but by a cabal of elite wannabe rulers intent on instituting a global police state and usurping control of the planet under the auspices of protecting its population from more destruction. Barack Obama, Dictator
(C4L) – What better example of dictatorship than President Obama’s dictate to BP to deliver $20 billion to a special fund that will be distributed by some political appointee to victims of the BP oil disaster?
Either a nation is ruled by a dictator or it’s governed by the rule of law. Continue reading
Video: Indian Children Blinded, Crippled By Fluoride In Water
(PaulWatson) – The controversy over adding sodium fluoride to water supplies in both the U.S. and the UK is intensifying as two separate stories out of India reveal that children are being blinded and crippled partly as a result of the neurotoxin being artificially added to drinking water.
In the Indian village of Gaudiyan, well over half of the population have bone deformities, making them physically handicapped. Children are born normally but after they start drinking the fluoridated water, they begin to develop crippling defects in their hands and feet.
“Due to the excess fluoride content in drinking water, the calcium intake is not absorbed in the body, causing disabilities and deformities,” said Dr Amit Shukla, a neurophysician. Continue reading
