Where has all the money gone?

What is really happening with all our money? How can the People really understand all that is happening with all of this “money” and where it ends up? From Bernard Madoff, to the Iraq reconstruction and Army charity scams, hundreds of billions are missing. I won’t even get into the economic stimulus bills, where Members of Congress are only allowed 48 hours to read a 1,000+ page bill, with hand written notes along its sides. Why are these bills passed under immense pressure, threats even? Well…let’s take just one example. Continue reading

BuzzFlash Analysis: The Economy That Almost Nobody Gets

When it comes to economics, many Americans need an education, and if not, at least an explanation of current problems, trends, and just plain what’s going on.

Christine Bowman writes a comprehensive pre-State of the Union Analysis of what’s going on, what Americans are thinking, but perhaps are afraid to ask, namely, “Will someone please just tell us what happened, what’s coming, and what we have to do now?” She says the President would not have to be the Econ Professor in Chief if the Business Media had done a decent job, but it seems to her that only Paul Krugman has been trying to describe today’s problems in real terms. How the US Economy Was Lost – Paul Craig Roberts

The American economy has gone away. It is not coming back until free trade myths are buried six feet under.

America’s 20th century economic success was based on two things. Free trade was not one of them. America’s economic success was based on protectionism, which was ensured by the union victory in the Civil War, and on British indebtedness, which destroyed the British pound as world reserve currency. Following World War II, the US dollar took the role as reserve currency, a privilege that allows the US to pay its international bills in its own currency. Continue reading

Rothschild Agents Take 10 Key Posts In Administration of Rookie President

Our greatest founding father and first president, George Washington, probably wouldn’t be ready to celebrate his birthday on Feb. 22 if he were alive today. Having led the 13 colonies to independence from the British Empire in 1783, following the course of a difficult eight-year struggle by those freedom-loving American colonists who followed him, Washington (who lived from 1732 to 1799) would most assuredly be appalled to see that the liberties achieved from the American Revolution are now being flagrantly defied by a number of figures who populate the upper ranks of the administration of Barack Obama. It looks like those who said the Obama Administration would strike while the iron is hot may have been correct, and the Administration may be doing it in a way that does not require them to even get a vote in Congress. The United States Is In Deep Doodoo! – Flashback

The following article was first written in 1998. I am relinking it here not so much as to say “I told you so”, but to point out that the long term economic future of the United States was obvious, or should have been obvious, to the people who are awarded lofty degrees and paid huge salaries to comprehend such things. Instead, the economists persisted in explaining away the visible signs of gathering troubles and earned their salaries by justifying why the policies that robbed the poor to give to the rich should continue unabated.
