1992 John Holdren Publication Reaffirms Devotion to Population Control through “Global Effort”

(PrisonPlanet) – Yet another writing has surfaced authored by current science czar John P. Holdren, detailing his enduring vision of a depopulated planet and the global efforts that should be made to accomplish it. Although described in detail in Ecoscience and other publications from the 70s, this new find proves once again and beyond a shadow of a doubt that the fox has far from lost his eugenic tricks.

In a 1992 Cambridge Press Publication Energy Efficiency and Human Activity: Past Trends, Future Prospects, cosponsored by the Stockholm Environment Institute, John P. Holdren wrote a 52 page prologue called “The Transition to Costlier Energy”. In it, he repeats his long-cherished vision of a planetary regime under which population control would be implemented more effectively. From page 36 onward: Continue reading

Matt Simmons “Apparently” Drowned At His Home Sunday Night – Katherine Smith

Headline today (August 8, 2010) [Notice the word “apparently” in the title]

Matt Simmons “apparently” drowned at his home Sunday night

NORTH HAVEN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Department says Matthew Simmons, the founder of the Ocean Energy Institute, drowned at his house on North Haven late Sunday night.

Simmons was a leading investment banker for the energy industry and had recently retired to work full time on the new Ocean Energy Institute.

He was a leading proponent of offshore wind power and had started raising money to develop and build offshore turbines.

The news release fails to mention Simmons was the leading proponent of sending a small nuclear bomb down the BP leaking well:

May 29 – Simmons, a “prominent energy expert” and investment banker known for predicting the oil price spike of 2008, tells Bloomberg News on Friday, sending a small nuclear bomb down the leaking well is “probably the only thing we can do” to stop the leak.

I have been working with Dr. Tom Termotto, the National Coordinator of the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference to ensure that the BP oil spill didn’t become “A radioactive oil spill.”

Below is an expose on Matt Simmons, which was ready for publication when the BP well was finally capped without resorting to a nuclear device.

The material was useful to Dr. Tom Termotto when he was interviewed on Rense Radio July 19 just four days before the BP well was finally capped.

Jeff Rense’ first question was, if Dr. Termotto would consider Matt Simmon’s nuclear option to cap the well? Tom immediately interjected and made it clear that we should never, never ever consider a nuclear option to cap the well, and went on to relentlessly discredit Matt Simmons throughout the interview.

Here is the expose provided to Dr. Termotto:

In 2006 Article White House Science Czar Still Talks Population Reduction and a “Substantial Carbon Tax”

(PrisonPlanet) – As recently as 2006, White House science czar repeated his call for curbing human population for the sake of the environment and “substantial carbon taxes”.

In the article titled “The Energy Innovation imperative: Addressing Oil Dependence, Climate Change, and Other 21st Century Energy Challenges“, Holdren admits (among other things) that notions such as “notably improving health care, reproductive rights, and educational opportunities for women” are, although “attractive in their own right”, only measures by which reduced population growth can be achieved. In regards to population-issues Holden writes (page 15): Continue reading

Carbonphobia, the real environmental threat

(Aletho) – The proposed construction of a new generation of nuclear plants is just one aspect of the environmental threat posed by cap and trade or carbon taxes. In this report I will address yet another threat, biomass energy generation. Wood chips and wood pellets are exempt from European Union permit rules for carbon emissions, ostensibly because the chipped trees recently absorbed carbon from the atmosphere. The fact that the trees would have sequestered the carbon for centuries if left as living natural habitat and soil regenerative decomposing matter is conveniently overlooked.

Energy legislation in the U.S. has yet to be passed but current bills similarly promote the wholesale clearing of forests for combustion. Bloomberg describes it as energy sprawl: Read More Here

The CLEAR Act of Another Federal Land Grab – Cassandra Anderson

(Infowars) – U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) addressed Congress on July 15th to report the Natural Resources Committee’s passage of HR 3534, the Consolidated Land, Energy and Aquatic Resources Act (CLEAR Act) of 2009. Congressman Gohmert said that the bill was to “deal with the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico” but it contains plans for the federal government to acquire land and was introduced in 2009.

The CLEAR Act is ambiguous so if the bill is passed, federal agencies will determine how it is implemented and how the land will be used. Continue reading

Senate aide says cap and trade dead, scaled-back bill likely

(RawStory) – Comprehensive energy legislation is likely off the table after the departure of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a Senate Democratic aide said Wednesday evening, but the chamber can still pass a “scaled back” bill that boosts clean energy.

“I just can’t see where we’d get 60 votes for a comprehensive energy bill with a cap on carbon at this point,” the aide to a senator on the Environment and Public Works Committee, who is closely involved with the issue, told Raw Story.

Graham, the sole and critical Republican in the Senate who pledged to support a cap and trade bill, told CongressDaily Wednesday he’d vote against the Kerry-Lieberman bill he helped craft, leaving Democrats confused and upset. Read entire article

(Rense) – Congressional Climate Bills – Stealth Schemes To Raise Energy Prices And Enrich Wall Street – Stephen Lendman

On June 26, 2009, HR 2454: American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (ACESA) passed, purportedly “To create clean energy jobs, achieve energy independence, reduce global warming pollution and transition to a clean energy economy.”

In fact, it lets energy polluters raise prices for huge windfall profits and gives Wall Street a bonanza through carbon trading derivatives speculation. Catherine Austin Fitts’ Solari.com blog explained it last July in her article titled, “The Next Really Scary Bubble” is coming, saying:

“If you think the housing and credit bubble diminished your financial security and your community, or the bailouts, or the rising gas prices did as well, hold on to your hat” for what’s ahead. “Carbon trading is gearing up to make the housing and derivative bubbles look like target practice,” or in other words, be the mother of all scams, courtesy of administration, House and Senate collaboration with Wall Street and the energy giants. Every year between now and 2050, acccording to Ed Miliband’s Department for Energy and Climate Change (Decc), the Climate Change Act is to cost us all up to £18.3 billion – £760 for every household in the country – as we reduce our carbon emissions by 80 per cent. Health Care Tyranny

Health care spending accounts for approximately 17% of GDP in the USA. Until last week about 50 cents of every health care dollar was being spent by the government with the remaining 50 cents so being spent in the private sector. Until last week about 11% of the healthcare industry was controlled by government monopoly in the form of Medicare, Medicaid, Indian Health Care, Veterans Health Care, and other entities (all failing with trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities). The 6% remaining in the private sector is subject to heavy government intervention (i.e. largely a political capitalism, not free market capitalism). With the passage of Obamacare the remaining 6% of the health care industry will soon fall under the complete control of the federal government. Experience and the laws of economics tell us that a government monopoly on health care means costs will spiral out of control, taxes will skyrocket, innovation will be curtailed, the brightest minds will flee the health care industry, shortages, waiting lines, and unnecessary mortality will result. Welcome to the tyranny of socialized medicine. A missile test-fired by Iran last week was reported on the BBC World Service as being “capable of striking Israel”.
The choice of words was not unusual. On previous occasions when Iran has test-fired a long-range rocket, the BBC and other western news media dutifully inform us that the said device is “capable of striking Israel”. The well-worn phrase is so reliably heard in these news bulletins that its use betrays a coded script. The not-too subliminal implications are that Iran is: a) a hostile state; b) doing something illegal in test-firing a long-range missile; and c) gearing up to deliver on its alleged threat to wipe out the state of Israel.
