Draft Law Revives Practice of Soviets

(NYTimes) – The lower house of the Russian Parliament passed a draft law on Friday allowing the country’s intelligence service to officially warn citizens that their activities could lead to a future violation of the law, reviving a Soviet-era K.G.B. practice that was often used against dissidents. The president, Dmitri A. Medvedev, is expected to sign it into law shortly.

The legislation was proposed during the tense weeks after two suicide bombers attacked the Moscow subway, and its stated goal was to stanch the growth of radicalism among young Russians. But rights advocates and opposition parties have warned that the expanded powers could be used to silence critics of the government. In a letter made public on Thursday, 20 leading human rights activists condemned the legislation as a blow to “the cornerstone principles of the law: the presumption of innocence and legal certainty.” Read entire article

MSM: Major Corporations Control European Union

(Guardian) – It is little wonder that José Manuel Barroso is seldom seen without a grin on his face these days. For the European commission chief is one of the luckiest guys in international politics. First, the appointment of a low-profile Belgian as the EU’s first permanent president has meant that Barroso will be able to keep on behaving as if he is the most powerful man in Brussels. And now, it looks likely that Barroso won’t need to lose any sleep about assembling his new team of commissioners (even if they don’t formally start work until January, a few months later than originally expected). Britain: The Depth Of Corruption – John Pilger

The theft of public money by members of parliament, including government ministers, has given Britons a rare glimpse inside the tent of power and privilege. It was left to a public relations man to sell the “leak”. Why? Continue reading

Flashback: Margaret Thatcher

Now that the Mainstream Media has finally chosen to openly publicise Margaret Thatcher’s struggle with dementia after eight years of near-deliberate refusal to mention it, and now that it has been (almost) decided in what fashion she will inevitably be ushered off this physical plane and into the halls of our Ancestors, I think that this is an opportune moment for us to look back on the primary issues that resulted in her being ousted from office.

This quick editiorial is in anticipation of the absolute whirlpool of spin that will be employed by both the mainstream media, as well as the alternative media, in the wake of her passing away suddenly. The mainstream media will largely talk around the issues while seeking to distort her memory to promote their globalist agenda, and we can sure that they will not mention any of the issues that were actually of the most importance. It can also be predicted the the alternative media will make ludicrous accusations about Margaret Thatcher having been ‘a member of the Bilderburg Group’, an accusation that is entirely false.

I’d like to quickly brush the dust off of the cover of some of the pages of our history, with just a few quotes and a video. Hopefully they will make the case very clear, in regards to Margaret Thatcher not being the villain. The real villain here is The Bilderburg Group and their collaborators.
