Mexican Police To Patrol NY?

(AmericanFreePress) – In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the government of Mexico, through its consulate in New York in the United Nations, has announced it will begin patrolling the New York City borough of Staten Island to “safeguard” its nationals there.

The actions of Mexico come after a series of incidents the Mexican government terms “bias attacks.”

Ironically, these so-called “hate crimes” have been perpetrated by blacks and Asians, indicative of rising tensions between various ethnic groups in the U.S. The Catholic Examiner and NBC New York both reported the Mexican government’s intention to mount surveillance, patrol and police in and around the Staten Island community of Port Richmond, which in recent years has seen a large influx of Mexican illegal immigrants. The Fight Against Federal Tyranny Begins…NOW

(WolvesOfLiberty) – Nullification – it’s all the rage these days – and a big part of that effort is educating Sheriffs across the country about their constitutional duties as the ultimate law enforcement power broker in their county. Thanks to retired Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack and his strategy of No Sheriff Left Behind, a number of Sheriffs are beginning to stand up to federal tyranny as they exercise their authority as a county’s top cop. Finally, the false meme of federal supremacy over the states is beginning to crumble. Continue reading

Canada Forfeits Sovereignty Over Food & Natural Health

(Makow) – Hidden in the language of Bill C-36, the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act, is a clause which makes Canadians “subject to the dictates of foreign authorities”, which are undefined but could mean anything from a foreign government to a trade association like the WTO, NAFTA, CETA, etc., to the United Nations.

This direct transfer of Canadian sovereignty to an unnamed foreign agency can happen at any time, without Parliamentary or public oversight, and it has happened before. In fact, at last month’s G20 conference, Prime Minister Harper admitted the surrendering of sovereignty was occurring economically, and treated it as a “fact of life”; we find this astounding, given that Harper was adamant in recent years about protecting this same sovereignty, and had until that moment not breathed a word about the fact that instead, he was giving it away without our knowledge or consent.

What does this mean to the Natural Health Industry, and to Canadian consumers? Read More Here

MSM: Mexico – Cartels move beyond drugs, seek domination

(AP) – President Felipe Calderon said Wednesday that Mexico’s cartels in many cases have moved beyond drugs as their main money-earner and are even trying to supplant the government in parts of the country.

Speaking at an anti-crime conference, Calderon said gangs are imposing fees like taxes in towns they dominate, extorting money from both legitimate and unauthorized businesses.

“This has become an activity that defies the government, and even seeks to replace the government,” he said. “They are trying to impose a monopoly by force of arms, and are even trying to impose their own laws.” Continue reading

The End Of The Rule Of Law

(PersonalLibertyDigest) – Some call the Barack Obama administration progressive. Some call it socialist. Other terms used are Marxist and communist.

I have called it fascist and corporatist in the past. Now I’ll just call it Evil.

That’s because the rule of law is dead in America. Now we have the rule of man—or government agency. The rule of man—or government agency—is a rule of Evil because it knows only the moral bounds of those making the rules. And it’s evident this administration, its appointments and its goals are amoral, if not immoral. Continue reading

Arizona Sheriff: ‘Our Own Government Has Become Our Enemy’

(CNSNews) – Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu is hopping mad at the federal government.

Babeu told CNSNews.com that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel.

“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said. Video: US ranchers ‘dragged into drug war’

(AlJazeera) – The US government is renewing efforts to keep drug-related violence – and the contraband itself – from spilling over its border with Mexico.

But the killing of a rancher in the southwestern US state of Arizona in March has prompted authorities there to press Washington for even tighter security against the traffickers.

The ranchers say they have been dragged into the drug war by virtue of their location along a porous and increasingly dangerous border. Continue reading

MSM: Judge Blocks Key Parts of Immigration Law in Arizona

(NYTimes) – A federal judge, ruling on a clash between the federal government and a state over immigration policy, has blocked the most controversial parts of Arizona’s immigration enforcement law from going into effect.

In a ruling on a law that has rocked politics coast to coast and thrown a spotlight on the border state’s fierce debate over immigration, United States District Court Judge Susan Bolton in Phoenix said some aspects of the law can go into effect as scheduled on Thursday.

The parts of the law that the judge blocked included the sections that called for officers to check a person’s immigration status while enforcing other laws and that required immigrants to carry their papers at all times. Judge Bolton put those sections on hold until the issues are resolved by the courts.

The judge’s decision, which came as demonstrators opposed and supporting the law gathered here and after three hearings in the past two weeks in which she peppered lawyers on both sides with skeptical questions, seemed unlikely to quell the debate. Full article here

MSM: Climate change ‘will increase Mexico-US migration’

COMMENT: Global Warming propaganda now to justify mass-migration to the U.S., which is already occurring… MSM spin at its most ridiculous.

(BBC) – A warming climate could see millions of adult Mexicans migrate to the US as rising temperatures cause a drop in crop yields, according to a study by researchers at Princeton University.

For every 10% of lost crop yields in Mexico, another 2% of Mexicans are likely to leave their country, the study says.

The research draws a clear connection between climate change and immigration – two heavily debated issues in the US.

It says warming may bring between 1.4m and 6.7m Mexicans to the US by 2080. Read More Here

Gun battles paralyze Mexican city near Texas

(Salon) – Mexican soldiers fought late-night gunbattles with gangs who forced citizens from their cars and used the vehicles to block streets in a city across the border from Texas.

The Nuevo Laredo city government posted messages on Facebook warning citizens to stay indoors as the battles erupted at several intersections Wednesday night. City officials on Thursday said they could not immediately confirm witness reports that several gunmen were killed. Continue reading

Celente – Bull Run Or BS? Crash Of 2010 On Its Way

(Rense) – 2010 has thundered past the half way mark and is galloping into history. What will the rest of the year hold?

Most of the “Top Ten Trends for 2010” forecast by Gerald Celente this past winter in the Trends Journal® have either come to pass or are about to manifest. Celente predicted:

The Afghan surge would fail.
The economic recovery would never materialize.
Terrorist threats would increase.
Tea parties would gain strong momentum.
Obama’s popularity would wane and/or plummet.
Anti-Immigration sentiments would intensify.
In 2009, “experts” rejoiced at the sight of the impending recovery’s “green shoots” and predicted the advent of a roaring bull stock market run.

Bull market or BS? Celente called the green shoots a mirage and recovery “a cover up.” Sure enough, the Dow is now trading at 1999 levels. He also wrote “Geopolitical and sociological fallout will threaten the entire European Union” and he forecast the “Crash of 2010.”

Will the “Crash” happen at all? Will it happen on schedule? Events conspiring in that direction are explored in detail in the Summer Trends Journal®, just sent to subscribers. Continue reading

MSM: Obama lawsuit invites fortified state militia

(WashingtonTimes) – Arizona has enacted a law that enables state and local police to support fed- eral immigration en- forcement, in a care- fully circumscribed manner. MSM: Holder – U.S. may take further legal action against Ariz. immigration law

(WashingtonPost) – Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday that if the federal government fails to stop Arizona’s controversial immigration law from taking effect, it may launch a second legal challenge to combat any racial profiling that takes place.

The Obama administration is suing Arizona over the state law, set to take effect July 29, which would make it a state crime for a person to be in the country illegally. It requires local law enforcement during all “lawful stops” to question a person about his or her immigration status if there is “reasonable suspicion” that the person may be an illegal immigrant.

In its July 6 court filing, the Justice Department argued that the Arizona law is unconstitutional because the power to set immigration policy and enforce it resides with the federal government and not the states. Read entire article

Why is the President ignoring the Constitution? – JT Coyote

(Infowars) – Why is the President ignoring the Constitution and the outcry of the people to control the southern border? Why has he allied himself with Mexican President Felipe Calderon against Arizona’s legislative action to hopefully stop the invasion? It makes little sense until you understand his intent is to ram historically unpopular amnesty legislation through Congress. Obama told Arizona Senator John Kyl privately: “If we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform,” blanket amnesty.

Outraged, Kyl  characterized the President’s position on the border situation as “holding hostage” to push his amnesty package. All in spite of popular anti-amnesty sentiment, increased border violence, threats against border county Sheriffs and other law enforcement, resulting in the closing of state parks and border areas considered too dangerous for Americans to enter. So what’s going on, why this unconstitutonal federal stance and violation of  Arizona’s 9th, 10th, and 11th Amendment sovereignty? Continue reading

2400 Canadian Soldiers deployed to Gulf Coast

(BeforeItsNews) – 2400 Canadian Soldiers and the 1 Combat Engineer Regiment based in Edmonton Alberta are on a 72 Hour notice for deployment to the U.S. Gulf Coast.

The 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (1 CMBG) frequently train with U.S. Army units including up to a 3 year secondment in the U.S. Military for Career Officers. The Canadian Engineer Regiment is often associated with the British SAS and their role in recent conflicts such as Bosnia and Afghanistan has seen them doing less reconstruction work and more urban pacification and counter insurgency operations.

Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal. Continue reading

Video: Obama Commits Act of High Treason; Sides with Foreign Power Against Arizona

(AlexJones&AaronDykes) – In his latest You Tube address, Alex Jones examines the factors leading towards the Obama Administration’s pending lawsuit against Arizona’s controversial immigration laws, an act of treason under the 11th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which bars the suing of states under certain circumstances.

Film: United We Fall

A film by Bryan Law and Dan Dicks “United We Fall” is a documentary about the North American Union that is being developed right now between Canada, the United States, and Mexico. For years this topic has been debated in the news and in political circles as being a possible future for North America. In recent years, the mood has shifted and a rift is developing between those who want a Deeply Integrated North American Community, and those who wish to retain their national sovereignty. This film takes a look at both sides by interviewing both insiders and activists who have been at the heart of this heated debate. The film also looks to the broader agenda of building a world government and its implications. Featured Interviews: Robert Pastor (Council on Foreign Relations), Allan Gotlieb (Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg) Herbert Grubel (Creator of the “Amero”) Luke Rudkowski (We Are Change) Dan Dicks (Press For Truth) Vijay Sarma (Political Activist, Independent Journalist) Dr. Andrew Moulden (Canadian Action Party) Richard Syrett (Talk Radio Host) Continue reading

Future U.S.-Canada Joint Arctic Security and Control – Dana Gabriel

(BeYourOwnLeader) – The Arctic has been the subject of dispute between Canada, Denmark, the U.S., Russia and Norway with each country taking steps to expand their scientific research and military presence. Its vast untapped oil, natural gas and mineral resources represent a tremendous economic potential, but control of the region is also important from a strategic standpoint. Increased cooperation and military integration could be used to further secure interests in the area. Canada and Denmark recently signed an agreement which will promote defence and security collaboration in the Arctic. In August, Canadian Forces operations in the far North will include Danish and American participation. There are also calls for U.S.-Canada joint security of North America’s Arctic waters and skies. Video: Clinton – Administration Will File Suit Over Arizona Immigration Law

(Fox) – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in an interview with a TV station in Ecuador that the Obama administration “will be bringing” suit against Arizona for its immigration law, though the Justice Department for weeks has said that the issue is under review.

In a clip of the interview posted on a conservative blog, Clinton was asked how the Obama administration was handling the debate over the law.

“President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy. And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act,” the secretary of state responded, before calling for comprehensive immigration reform.

President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have both criticized the Arizona law, but the administration has maintained that its attorneys are reviewing the legislation to determine the next step. Full story here.

Mayor Admits NAFTA Super-highway Will Run Through Memphis

(MyEyewitnessNews) – Memphis Mayor, A C Wharton is back from Mexico. Wharton went to Mexico, to discuss trade opportunities south of the border. Wharton said as a result of the trip, he has appointed a team to look at how fostering the Mexico-Memphis relationship could create jobs. Wharton said he would like Memphis to be a one stop shop, where Mexican products come in, and get distributed across the United States.

Wharton said Mexican leaders were well versed on what is happening in the Bluff City. “They knew how many Mexicans lived in the area, how much spending power they had, they had studied us,” added Wharton.

Mexico is the United States second largest trade partner. Wharton said when the I-69 International Highway is built from Canada to Mexico it will run through Memphis. “This could become the breaking point. Cyberbullying Bill Sponsor Says White Supremacists Behind Arizona Law

(KurtNimmo) – Remember Linda Sánchez? She is the California Democrat and Obama super delegate who sponsored the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act that would imprison people for using the internet and other “electronic means” to say unkind things about other people.

Law professor and blogger Eugene Volokh pointed out in May of 2009 that the law was so broad it might be used to ensnared newspaper reporters and journalists after they write acrimonious editorials. “The examples could be multiplied pretty much indefinitely,” writes Volokh. “The law, if enacted, would clearly be facially overboard (and probably unconstitutionally vague), and would thus be struck down on its face under the First Amendment,” Volokh wrote.

Ms. Sánchez has made headlines again. On Tuesday Sánchez told a Democratic Club that white supremacist groups are influencing lawmakers to adopt laws that will lead to discrimination. “There’s a concerted effort behind promoting these kinds of laws on a state-by-state basis by people who have ties to white supremacy groups,” she said, according to Fox News. “It’s been documented. It’s not mainstream politics.” Continue reading

MSM: Los Angeles Students to Be Taught That Arizona Immigration Law Is Un-American

(Fox) – The Los Angeles Unified School District school board wants all public school students in the city to be taught that Arizona’s new immigration law is un-American.

The school board president made the announcement Tuesday night after the district’s Board of Education passed a resolution to oppose the controversial law, which gives law enforcement officials in Arizona the power to question and detain people they suspect are in the U.S. illegally when they are stopped in relation to a crime or infraction.

Critics of the law say it will result in racial profiling.

The school board voted unanimously on Tuesday to “express outrage” and “condemnation” of the law, and it called on the school superintendent to look into curtailing economic support to the Grand Canyon State. About 73 percent of the students in the school district are Latino.

But supporters of the law say the school board is way out of bounds and that the measure will just distract from the children’s education. Full article here

MSM: Obama Wants Supreme Court to Rule on Arizona Law

(WPost) – The Obama administration on Friday urged the Supreme Court to review and set aside an Arizona law that sanctions employers who hire illegal immigrants, saying it would disrupt the “careful balance” that Congress struck in federal immigration law.

The act in question is not the strict new Arizona law that President Obama and other members of his administration have criticized. That measure authorizes police to question the immigration status anyone who appears to be in the country illegally.

The law being challenged, the Legal Arizona Workers Act, imposes tougher sanctions than federal law for hiring illegal workers. If the court chooses to hear the case, its ruling could show how receptive the justices would be to arguments that enforcing immigration laws is a federal responsibility that cannot be usurped by the states. (Infowars) – My reaction to the Arizona State law aimed at curtailing the endless flood of illegals crossing that state’s southern border, was initially one of apprehension — upon further reflection however, if this law were well crafted and properly implemented it would not only be constitutionally sound, but it would force the federal government to enforce it’s Article IV, section 4 constitutional mandate. That mandate being, ”… The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; …” This type of legislation by states would push the federal government to act on their long neglected responsibility, the enforcement of US border law. (AmericanFreePress) – ‘The United States of Arizona’ – Jim Traficant

Our 50 states are to be the United States of America. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. And, to continue the freedoms we enjoy, our nation must be secured, protected from potential enemies and threats from within—and—without. Quite frankly, those lofty yet pragmatic goals and ideals are not possible without a secure border.

There is no national security without a secure border. Every military strategist knows that. I introduced legislation onto the House floor to secure our borders by relocating troops from overseas to our borders. My legislation provided 10,000 soldiers to be strategically placed and assigned to all our borders, both north and south. Continue reading

Rand Paul, Civil Rights, and More Liberal Hypocrisy on Race

(CampaignForLiberty) – I recently wrote two articles in which I criticized liberals for being two-faced and hypocritical when it comes to racial issues. The articles, which concerned the minimum wage, a longtime favorite government program among liberals whose negative effects fall disproportionately on blacks, were entitled “Why Do Daily Kos and Alternet Favor a Racist Government Program?” and “Free Teenagers: Repeal the Minimum Wage.”

Of course, I could also have written an article pointing out the decades-long liberal support of the drug war, another vicious government program whose adverse consequences have long fallen disproportionately on blacks and Hispanics. See, for example, this list of articles.

Thus, it’s not a coincidence that liberal icon Barack Obama, a drug user himself (he smoked dope and snorted cocaine when he was young and smokes tobacco today) and his Democratically controlled Congress are not only not ending the drug war but instead are ramping it up, even encouraging the Mexican government’s use of the military to wage the drug war in Mexico.
