(NaturalNews) – A report by the Chicago Tribune has revealed that officials in the village of Crestwood, just outside Chicago, have been secretly introducing tainted well water into the town water supply for years.
“I feel deceived,” village resident Tom Parkis said.
For years before the story broke, town residents had wondered if there might not be something wrong with their water. For example, Frank Caldario was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2009, at the age of 30. Continue reading →
High fructose corn syrup should be banned from the food supply. The latest evidence comes from a large study of 60, 524 participants over a 14 year period. Those who consumed on average 5 high fructose corn syrup sweetened sodas per week had nearly double the risk for developing deadly pancreatic cancer.
“The high levels of sugar in soft drinks may be increasing the level of insulin in the body, which we think contributes to pancreatic cancer cell growth,” said Mark Pereira, Ph.D., senior author on the study and associate professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. (PrisonPlanet) – A WHO publication of the Expert Consensus Meeting Group Report advises adding fluoride in the water-supply for specific segments of the population.
The “consensus” reached among the “experts” reads, that higher income groups often already consume enough fluoride for their purposes, which- by the way- has decidedly nothing to do with some dental battle against tooth decay.
“For example”, we can read in the report, “in countries such as those in Scandinavia, where public dental awareness is very high and alternative vehicles for fluoride (e.g. fluoridated toothpaste) are widely available and widely used, a decision to not fluoridate the water, or remove fluoride, or to supply drinking water with suboptimal levels of fluoride would likely be of little consequence. Big Think, a website that interviews scientists and experts in various fields has begun a month-long series called, “Dangerous Ideas” and the first post features drugging the public water supply. The expert they interviewed for this story is Jacob M. Appel, a bioethicist and medical historian, who has written in favor of adding lithium to the public water supply. He states clearly that he believes lithium and other “enhancers” are beneficial additions to our public water supply and any opposition is based on false assumptions that natural water is better than artificially enhanced water.
He expanded on this claim in his 2009 article featured in Huffington Post. In the article he cites a Japanese study claiming that lithium reduces suicides. Continue reading →
Rep. Charles Rangel may be in trouble because he is your standard corrupt district of criminals opportunist, but that has not killed his mandatory slavery bill. On July 15, Rangel introduced H.R. 5741, the Universal National Service Act, and it was referred to the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel on July 23. Even though the bill does not have co-sponsors, it is currently under debate. “I have introduced legislation to reinstate the draft and to make it permanent during time of war,” said Rep. Charles Rangel. Continue reading →
(Grist) – When the 20 agents arrived bearing a search warrant at her Ventura County farmhouse door at 7 a.m. on a Wednesday a couple weeks back, Sharon Palmer didn’t know what to say. This was the third time she was being raided in 18 months, and she had thought she was on her way to resolving the problem over labeling of her goat cheese that prompted the other two raids. (In addition to producing goat’s milk, she raises cattle, pigs, and chickens, and makes the meat available via a CSA.)
But her 12-year-old daughter, Jasmine, wasn’t the least bit tongue-tied. “She started back-talking to them,” recalls Palmer. “She said, ‘If you take my computer again, I can’t do my homework.’ This would be the third computer we will have lost. I still haven’t gotten the computers back that they took in the previous two raids.” Continue reading →
(NaturalNews) – There are a great many reasons to love America. For one thing, Freedom of Speech remains largely intact in the USA (although the FDA has struck a serious blow to the principle with its ongoing censorship of free speech about nutritional supplements). We also have a diverse culture of people who are by and large friendly people. This was brought home to me recently when I was traveling through the Gulf Coast region, talking to people on the street about the BP oil spill. Virtually everyone was friendly, and I found I could walk right up to all sorts of people — from the country fisherman in Biloxi Mississippi to the street-drumming entertainers in New Orleans — and they were all happy to chat. (LondonGuardian) – Report condemns swine flu experts’ ties to big pharma
Scientists who drew up the key World Health Organisation guidelines advising governments to stockpile drugs in the event of a flu pandemic had previously been paid by drug companies which stood to profit, according to a report out today.
An investigation by the British Medical Journal and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the not-for-profit reporting unit, shows that WHO guidance issued in 2004 was authored by three scientists who had previously received payment for other work from Roche, which makes Tamiflu, and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), manufacturer of Relenza. (NaturalNews) – FDA defeated in federal court over censorship of truthful health claims – Mike Adams
Health freedom has just been handed a significant victory by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, which ruled last week that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) violated the First Amendment rights of a nutritional supplement company when it censored truthful, scientifically-backed claims about how selenium can help reduce the risk of cancer. (NaturalNews) – Big Pharma blackmails Greece; halts medicine supply over cash demands – Mike Adams
In the midst of runaway economic problem in Greece, the pharmaceutical industry has decided to blackmail the nation and halt shipments of medicines to Greece until it agrees to pay full price for the drugs. In order to cut costs during its severe debt crisis, Greece had announced it would pay drug companies 25 percent less for their products, but this loss of profit was enough to convince several pharmaceutical companies supplying key drugs to the country to initiate their own medical blockade where they simply refuse to deliver any more medicines. (Infowars) – Genetically modified food has entered the food supply through secrecy and deception. Some claimed that genetically modifying the food supply could even put an end to world hunger. At first glance, genetic modification really does look like a great idea. It allows for larger crops, enhanced growing seasons, and even bigger animals. The truth of the matter is that genetically modified food has been shown to sterilize the population, lead to infant mortality, and exacerbate the usage of pesticides on a global scale. Unless it is amended, the Food Safety Modernization Act will regulate our local food sources out of business. As written now, the legislation is a big gift to the industrial food producers, and a drastic blow against small farms.
So please take steps, ASAP, to tell your senators either to amend the bill or vote against it.
Here, below Gianni Ortiz’s prefatory note, is all you need to know to take immediate action. Continue reading →
The investigative team at WCVB TV in Boston ran a story yesterday about an unknown substance in fluoride imported from China. Team 5 Investigates found the Amesbury Water Department pulled fluoride from its system amid concerns about its supply from China, the news station reported. Department of Public Works Director Rob Desmarais said after he mixes the white powder with water, 40 percent of it will not dissolve. Desmarais said the residue clogs his machines and makes it difficult to get a consistent level of fluoride in the towns water. Continue reading →
(IsraelNN) – The three largest oil trading firms in the world – Glencore, Trafigura and Vitol – announced Monday that they would no longer do business with Iran. A report in the London Financial Times said that the companies had concluded that there was too much risk and not enough profit in supplying Iran. The three companies had been responsible for supplying Iran with about half its daily oil use.

The fallout from the IPCC Himalayan glacier situation gets stranger and stranger. Now an IPCC lead author has stepped forward claiming that the error has been known by the IPCC all along. From Agence France-Presse:
A top scientist said Monday he had warned in 2006 that a prediction of catastrophic loss of Himalayan glaciers, published months later by the UN’s Nobel-winning climate panel, was badly wrong. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report said in 2007 it was “very likely” that the glaciers, which supply water to more than a billion people across Asia, would vanish by 2035 if global warming trends continued.
“This number is not just a little bit wrong, but far out of any order of magnitude,” said Georg Kaser, an expert in tropical glaciology at the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
“It is so wrong that it is not even worth discussing,” he told AFP in an interview.
A UN agency has warned of the danger of the collapse of the underground water system in the Gaza Strip. In a report, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) claims that over-use and contamination as a result of the Israeli war against Gaza a year ago is having a damaging effect on water supplies upon which 1.5 million people depend. Pollution, says the UNEP, is so bad that Gaza’s children are at risk of nitrate poisoning. Test at nine private wells showed that nitrate levels exceed World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines of 50 milligrams per litre; one well had a level of 331 milligrams per litre. High levels of nitrates can cause “blue baby syndrome”. Continue reading →
FDA continues world colonization, opens another international facility in Mexico
In its supposed efforts to improve food safety, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently announced the opening of its third Latin American facility located in Mexico City. Since an increasing quantity of fruits, vegetables, and medical devices are being imported into the U.S. from Mexico, FDA officials believe setting up outposts there will improve the food safety process. FDA approves Crestor for people who have no health problem to correct

It’s all part of a ploy to position prescription drugs as nutrients — things you need to take on a regular basis in order to prevent disease. Read More Here

Over the past two years, the federal government and the Federal Reserve have dispersed trillions of public dollars, run up enormous deficits, and kept interest rates at zero. In just about any economic textbook, this combination of policies would be described as the perfect recipe for inflation. Yet, with the exception of the usual increases in health care and education, prices by and large are not rising. Many have concluded that our economic leadership has simply outsmarted the textbooks. (NaturalNews) – If you know anything about the food supply, you know that honey bees are a crucial part of the food production chain. The world is immersed in a dark bureaucratic nightmare, while lulled by the dream of a green sustainable future. This can be best illustrated by the Hegelian Dialectic, when simplified, is described as Problem > Reaction > Solution, wherein a Problem is created with an ulterior motive, a Reaction is provoked as a result of the Problem, and a predetermined Solution is then implemented. In December 14, 2008, in his interview on the CBS sixty minutes show, Whitney Tilson an investment fund manager predicted that the subprime collapse was only half way of the total real estate bubble, and that the second half will begin take place around 2010 and will continue until about the year 2013. Tilson also discussed the two fancy Wall Street terms for bad mortgages namely Alt-A (Alternative-A paper) and option arms mortgages. These loans lured borrowers with teaser rates that will begin to reset this year. Continue reading →

The Federal Reserve System is a failure. In the last round of bailouts, all they could do was inflate the money supply to unprecedented levels, in order to stave off a financial tsunami. The problem is that the financial tsunami was created by inflating the money supply in the first place. That’s like putting out a fire by throwing gasoline on it. Continue reading →
What are derivatives? Some investors describe them as “dormant economic weapons of mass destruction”. They essentially are large leveraged bets on top of stocks, bonds and commodities. Money can be made within months or seconds by betting if a stock will go up, down or even remain the same. With no credit rating you can place a bet worth double your account balance. Big time investors get greater leverage with these instantaneous loans. Continue reading →
